Consequence revealed to VladTV that he was one of the first acts signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label, which prompted a conversation about how they met.
The Queens-born emcee explained that they met through rapper/producer 88-Keys when Kanye was still new to NYC, but the two rappers hit it off after finding out they had lots of shared interests. Cons and Mr. West would go on to work on a track together, which led to them building a network of other artists to work and build their careers with.
