40 Glocc addressed Kurupt's incendiary "King of NY" VladTV interview, the perceived East coast vs. West coast beef and more during a recent sit down with VladTV.

Opening up, 40 touches on the shortlived supergroup The Riflemen, which consisted of him, Kurupt, Jayo and Mobb Deep. The Cali-raised emcee explains that the group never really panned out due to Kurupt's desire to work with Cash Money and 40 being against it, though he says it's still all love between him and Kurupt.

40 Glocc then discusses Kurupt's VladTV interview in which he ranted against all the hype over his "King of NY" line and Kendrick Lamar's subsequent use of the provocative lyric, with 40 saying he understands exactly where Kurupt was coming from.

"They make it like it's an East coast [vs.] West coast thing, and it's really not," he explains, later adding, "I'm campaigning for a lot of the dudes that's [on the east coast]."

Speaking further on the myth of an East vs. West rift, 40 Glocc points out that he was with an East coast hip hop icon on one of the most infamous nights in rap history.

"I was running around as a little ni**a with Ol' Dirty Bastard, and being around Snoop and 'Pac and them. I was with Dirt -- I was with Ol' Dirty the night Biggie got killed. Out here."
