Star recently sat down with the forever interesting Nikki D to discuss what she currently has in the works and what really went down behind Def Jam's doors back in the day. Though she couldn't pinpoint two Def Jam artists who didn't get along, she precisely remembers when her labelmate LL Cool J and Run DMC's Rev Run would only give each other a head nod.

It was all about bigger budgets and who Russell Simmons was paying more attention to, according to Nikki. The two entertainers always kept it peaceful in public, however. Though Nikki commented that Joey and Todd would go back and forth "all day long," she also added that "you would never know 'cause they was about that mic." "I think they respect each other because you cannot take from the other what the other one has laid down in the game - f****** phenomenal."

Nikki also took the time to speak on Foxy Brown, who we all know she's had beef with for years. "I actually thought she was a sweet girl initially, but I think she just got caught up in the bulls*** that the game had to offer her," Nikki states. She also said that everyone knows that the rapper who went from "leanin' boots to Louboutins" has a "head problem" and was always close to getting beat up by her in the Def Jam offices.

Watch above as Nikki D. talks about her new hip-hop mentoring program for kids who "think that Young Dro or Young-whoever started the game," how her "brother" DMX "veered off to the wrong direction" and more in this exclusive clip.
