A couple of weeks back, up-and-comer Ra Diggs was given three life sentences plus an extra 105 years after being found guilty on 21 different charges, including three for murder. Mysonne, who was musically affiliated with the rapper, believes "he understood what comes with [that lifestyle]," adding that "if he was engaged in that, I think he was prepared for the outcome of his activities."

Two of Mysonne's close friends (including rapper Pistol Pete) are also in prison for life on similar charges as Ra Diggs, making this situation hit extremely close to home for him. Growing up with Pete, Mysonne remembers when he "wrote something called 'The MVPs of the Game'" and he said  "when we engage in these acts we knowingly understand what comes with this. When you're involved in that life, there's only two outcomes."

Watch above as Mysonne shares his thoughts on the people who glorify this type of behavior, and why kids these days "make a contract to give up their life at some point" when they choose to engage in street behavior.
