Former WBO Middleweight Champion Peter Quillin says he was happy to finish all twelve rounds of his fight against Andy Lee at the non-title fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday evening.

The fight ended with a surprising 113-113 draw, with Quillin knocking down Lee several times during the fight. Quillin says his absence for a year took a toll on him as he became a father, and a family member died of cancer.

Aside from his personal issues, the fighter says he trained well for the match. He says he wouldn't mind going to Ireland to battle Lee, but was satisfied to be in Brooklyn.
