Last week, a rare video of Kanye West and his late mother, Donda, was posted to YouTube. Her devotion and willingness to help nourish her son's dreams is well-documented, and in the clip, the two are seated in a kitchen and the supportive mother raps alongside her son, who was destined to become a global star.

As a mother and an English professor, Dr. West reminded 'Ye of one of his previously written verses to which Yeezy responded, "That shows you if you have a rap that actually means something, it's good. It stands the test of time if you say something."

Eventually the spontaneous duo sang, "Hey Mama," which appeared on Yeezus' critically-acclaimed 2005 album, 'Late Registration.'
