The second trailer for the N.W.A. biopic 'Straight Outta Compton' introduces the group's battle with racial tension during the height of their career and an introduction to Jerry Heller, the group's manager.

Released on Thursday, the trailer features Paul Giamatti as Heller who helped the group during their early formation in the 80's. After meeting Eazy E, the two went on to create Ruthless Records. The trailer also shows the group coming together as Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins) struggles to make music as a single father, Eazy E's (Jason Mitchell) strife with gangs, and Ice Cube (played by his son, O'Shea Jackson Jr.) dealing with racism on a daily basis.

The second trailer also shows a quick glimpse of Suge Knight. The former rap mogul is currently facing murder charges for an alleged hit-and-run accident.

The film will hit theaters Aug. 14.
