A lot of celebrities - especially rappers - have been resorting to becoming personalities on Instagram to help broaden their fanbase. As funny as guys like Plies and Kevin Gates may be, according to Charlamagne tha God, "if it don't translate into dollars, it don't make no motherf**kin sense."
"I do notice [that] Plies can put a video out on Instagram and everybody will laugh, and retweet it and share it with each other," he states, "but then he'll put out a song, and that s**t will fall on deaf ears."
