Raven-Symone's excitement about her ancestry got the best of her during a recent interview on E! News.

The actress, thrilled about spreading the good word of everyone exploring their roots, mistakenly told host Alicia Quarles she was from all but one continent in Africa and Europe. While Raven meant to call them countries, she repeated her error again and stressed the importance of African-Americans discovering their history.

"Thank you to ancestry.com for sending me my DNA test," she said. "I am from every continent in Africa except for one and I'm also from every continent in Europe except for one. We are a melting pot of beauty. We have to embrace the different cultures we have. And if you don't, we're still gonna have these problems that are blasting up everywhere. And call me hippie, call me a free-thinker, call me someone that's looking for a better life, but I wanna be in a better world."

Since last year Raven's comments on race have caused backlash with her fans, including her comments on her own ethnicity and agreeing with the Univision anchor who likened Michelle Obama to a cast member from Planet of the Apes earlier this month.
