Last week while in Austin, TX., for the SXSW festival, the 'Sway in the Morning' show conducted a pop-up broadcast with rapper Skeme, Lil Uzi Vert, and DJ Drama. The conversation consisted of how the Inglewood native and Philly MCs linked up with veteran producer DJ Drama and for their respective projects.

The discussion took an interesting turn when Sway broached the topic of ghostwriting. As a respected cultural advocate for Hip-Hop, Sway boldly asked, "I heard you wrote the verses for "Fancy," which is Iggy's biggest hit.

After initially trying to dodge the question Skeme claimed, "Yeah, we had something to do with it, a lot of vibe, a lot of push." Later, after receiving praise for the popularity of "Fancy," Skeme alluded to being compensated well for his pen-game.

Skeme later took to Twitter and partially back-pedaled on his admission, which you can check out up top.

Do you think Iggy used a ghostwriter for "Fancy"? Sound off below.
