Courtesy of Pe$o, VladTV delivers this exclusive with Gorilla Zoe. The interview covers Zoe's thoughts on a range of topics, including which artists have motivated his work ethic, his creative growth, and who he considers as his competition.

Commencing the conversation, Zoe speaks about some of the motivational artists with whom he has worked, and Flo Rida is an artist who's credited for inspiring Zoe's work ethic. The "F*** Something" rapper contends, "To be here is a blessing. I definitely put in the work," he says while speaking on Flo Rida. "Always staying a student to the game and being able to learn helped me get here."

Moving on to the seven years which have elapsed since his major label debut, the "Lost" rapper speaks on his creative growth. He contends, "Everything that's alive is growing...If you're not growing then you're not alive. So, it was almost inevitable that my growth was going to happen." From the streets to sixteens, the rapper then dishes about his musical maturation that's been influenced by Hip-Hop's evolution and also by artists from many different genres.

Moving on to what drives him to work harder, the "Helluvalife" rapper cites Flo Rida as his healthy competition, and he explains that meticulous attention to detail motivates Gorilla Zoe to ensure his art nears "perfection." He offers, "We might work on an album for 30 days. We might work on a record for a whole month," and the established rapper believes that the invested attention to detail can "change the dynamics of the record."
