Iggy Azalea's hiatus from social media may have been for the best. The rapper was spoofed on Saturday Night Live, in which the cast ragged on the rapper's lyrics, accent, and her feud with Azealia Banks. Kate McKinnon, who is best known for her hilarious Justin Bieber impression, did her best Iggy as she jumped from her rapping voice to her Australian accent.
During the bit, Sasheer Zamata spoofed Azealia Banks who wasn't interested in squashing her beef with the rapper. "Thor" actor Chris Hemsworth, the show's special guest, also filled a funny role as Iggy's hip cousin, who drops different rapping techniques. T.I (Jay Pharoah) also makes a brief cameo.
Iggy took an official break from social media last week after she faced criticism after photos were posted to the web of her in a bikini. She also claimed her privacy was repeatedly violated by photographers, and that dealing with her critics online has left her emotionally drained.
