There's no doubt the NBA MVP race now has 4 names in the voting box, as with the likes of James Harden, Steph Curry and LeBron James, we can now add Russell Westbrook to that list. Some history was made last night from a numbers standpoint, as Westbrook put up 46 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists which tallied him a triple double. Now with that triple double, Russell now is in the class with the great Michael Jordan who was the last player to ever put up four straight triple doubles in a four-game span. Kudos to Westbrook on his many great performances this season, as now OKC currently holds that 8th seed in the Western conference standings and playoff race. With performances like these, the Thunder bench also gets its fair amount of praise from Westbrook, who believes without the role players, the Thunder wouldn't be in the position they're currently in, and stats don't really matter if the team doesn't get the win.

To close out the exclusive, Westbrook talks about the fans and showing the same love and support they give him and his teammates on a nightly basis. Thanks to sneakerreporter for the exclusive!
