While chopping it up with Zach Sang & The Gang, Iggy Azalea touched on several topics, including her next album and what motivated her to step away from social media.

The "Fancy" rapper was very clear in her reason for ditching social media: all the negativity was starting to affect the way she viewed her fans. Iggy explained that she had begun working on her new album and the music was coming across as super angry due to all the hate she's faced in recent months.

"I had to quit social media, I was like 'this album is too aggressive, I have to stop,'" she added.

Continuing on the topic, Iggy said she became fed up with all the hate she faced on a daily basis concerning everything from paparazzi photos of her to comments she makes about music. The Australian emcee then broke down how she believes so many people in her generation have become conditioned to maintain a social media presence, they forget that you can quit it and back away.

Iggy went on to reveal that she doubts she'll ever make a return to social media, and will instead make statements to fans through her publicists and her music.
