During this exclusive interview with VladTV, Joey Fatts explains going from being homeless, to producing and touring with A$AP Rocky, to the importance of A$AP Yams.

The Long Beach rapper/producer Joey Fatts is known for his bars and his beats. He recalls his journey from being homeless, to meeting Cali rapper A$ton Matthews, whom Fatts credits for believing in his talent and providing shelter. While living in A$ton's garage Joey created the popular track "Cutthroat."

A reminiscent Joey then reveals an unexpected call from Lord Flacko himself changed his life. From that garage Fatts went on to produce A$AP''s "Jodye." That track led to an invitation to tour, and Fatts then credits 2013 as being the most enjoyable year of his life.

The emerging artist also speaks on the early passing of A$AP Yams. Fatts believes, "He's the one who held everybody together. He was the backbone."
