Neef Buck of the Young Gunz sat down with VladTV and spoke on meeting his partner in rhyme in junior high, saying he moved from West to North Philly and encouraged Chris to become a rapper. He then says later he met a man named Stevie G who was known to get Philly artists deals, including Beanie Sigel. He brought the duo to NYC to meet with a few labels, and they decided to go with Roc-A-Fella because they felt Jay and Dame understood their situation the best.
