Project Pat reflects on his debut album, troubles with the law and why he believes he was set up by the police for a gun charge during an exclusive interview with VladTV.

The Memphis veteran dropped his debut album, Ghetty Green in 1999. Known as a classic to many, the rapper says he was happy with the general reception of the album. His debut featured N.O.R.E., Birdman, and Three Six Mafia including Gangsta Boo and Juicy J. Pat also explains that he took his music career seriously after his constant brushes with the law. With the opportunity to support himself and his family the legal way, the rapper took the straight and narrow path.

In addition to his new found outlook, Pat says one of his arrests made him question the police and their tactics. After being locked up for gun possession, the rapper says the arresting officer was aware that Pat didn't know the guns were in the car, but decided to forge in the police report a confession the rapper didn't make.
