In a recent interview with Montreality, veteran comedian Mike Epps spoke on a host of subjects, and music the universal connector, was broached during the conversation.

The 'Friday After Next' star touched on his TDE affiliation. He stated, "Kendrick, he's a good kid. You know, me and Top Dawg [are] real good friends." Mike Epps went on to make an iconic comparison between Kendrick Lamar and Tupac Shakur.

The experienced thespian further shared his thoughts on K. Dot. "I think he's a great lyricist. The dude is really ahead of his time with some of the words and stuff. The lyrics that he puts together is of our day. He really represents this generation. He reminds me a lot of 'Pac. The way he puts together his lyrics. How he speaks about real life. It's gang related -- it's street," offered Epps.

Subjects ranging from his fetish, to his thoughts on a possible 'Friday' sequel, to his feud with Chris Rock, were also mentioned during the interview.
