As the weather continues to drop to dangerous lows, police are urging drivers to be careful on the icy roads. Over the weekend, a cop was injured when a driver lost control of his car on an icy road in Michigan.
The police officer was assisting another driver who slid off the road when the incident occurred on Saturday. As the officer tried to help the driver, an 18-year-old drove into the damaged vehicle nearly crushing the police officer. The cop fell into a ditch and was later taken to a local hospital where he's expected to make a full recovery.
