Zaytoven sat down with DJ Smallz and explained why he's not bothered that one of his beats serves on a bunch of songs for different artists. The west coast producer has worked with Nicki Minaj, Future, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti and Migos for their hit, "Versace." Zaytoven says the beat to "Versace" was at least a year old when the group got ahold of it. Soulja Boy and Plies also used the beat on separate mixtapes but didn't find any success with it.
He says giving the same beat to different artists almost serves as a challenge to the artists to create the best possible record and doesn't ruin any of his partnerships with them.
