Oscar-nominated rapper Common sat down with VladTV and shared that he was once a ball boy for the Chicago Bulls during their legendary Michael Jordan era. He revealed that when Mike joined the team, higher-ups didn't approve of him playing rap music, in particular "Friends" by Whodini, but after his first exhibition game, he could play whatever he wanted.

He also shares a story in which his attempt to get Mike to sign a basketball for another kid went all wrong.
