Long Island songstress Ashanti sat down with VladTV and shared her thoughts on the decline of Murder Inc, saying their federal indictment was perhaps the biggest catalyst in the downfall of the label. She also admits that their beef with 50 Cent and G-Unit contributed to their decline, as she and Ja Rule were the major breadwinners of the label who didn't feel it made sense to "clap back" at 50 in song, which is why Jadakiss and Fat Joe eventually became involved after collaborating with Ja.
