Styles P shared his thoughts on modern-day Battle Rap in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV.
Styles reflected on how he came up battling in a very different era than how it is today, where nobody knew who their opponent was going to be prior to the battle. Despite the fact that Styles has judged various Smack/URL UFF battles, he isn't too fond of the new format that gives battlers loads of time to prepare their bars and do research on their opponents. He also doesn't like comedy battles, and wishes more battlers would stick to producing gritty bars.
For the right price, Styles would be very willing to battle and thinks that he will "eat one of them ni**as up." How do you think Styles P would do in a battle vs. the elite rappers in the sport today?
