Long Beach spitter Crooked I sat down with VladTV and spilled the beans on his upcoming rap competition series, One Shot. The show will be shot in major cities across the country with a winner being chosen every stop. In the end, all contestants will compete in Las Vegas for the $100,000 prize and a record deal. Judges include Crook himself, King Tech, Mike Smith of SMH Records, and a rotating roster of guest judges for each city.

Crook wants to make it clear that it isn't a battle rap competition, but a songwriting and performing platform, as each contestant will be able to perform original works for a live audience. Details of where it will be broadcast are still being hashed out, but the Slaughterhouse MC is debating releasing the series exclusively to handheld devices and streaming services such as Hulu.
