The increasing tension between the people of St. Louis and the police continued during the holiday season when a group of cops allegedly threatened a group of protesters.

Quadeer "M.C. Spice' Shakur, social activist and member of the Universal Zulu Nation, tells VladTV a group of protesters were threatened by several police officers after the protesters wanted to report the officers alleged aggressive behavior on Christmas evening. After one officer allegedly said, "Call CNN motherf*****," protesters retaliated by voicing their frustrations over Antonio Martin and the rest of the victims who have died due to cop killings.

Shoving ensues, but no arrests were made.

Since the death of Michael Brown in August, the police force in St. Louis has faced scrutiny for their practices and victim shaming. After the death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice in November, the Facebook page for the force titled their press release on the shooting, "Kids Will be Kids?" They also included parental advice on children playing with toy guns and real guns, causing many to believe they were mocking the child's death.
