In this exclusive interview with VladTV, Boaz talks Nas comparisons, working with Junior Reid and how his trip to Jamaica enlightened his spirit.
The Pittsburgh rapper has called himself the Nas of his region and has also heard it from critics. Boaz says the comparisons to the hip-hop giant are humbling and he plans to keep working hard to prove the comparisons to be true.
Boaz also talks about his single "How We Law" with Junior Reid and the making of the video. Boaz says while shooting the movie-like video in Kingston, Jamaica, he was able to see poverty in a whole other way. He explains how American poverty would be considered middle class to the some of the Kingston natives.
