Regardless of what many of his haters may think, Drake's mother doesn't think her son is an overly emotional type of guy.

From memes, videos and more, fans have mocked the "Trophies" rapper about his emotional state and how easy it is for him to appear vulnerable on a track. While the ladies seem to enjoy it, Drake turned to his mother, Sandi Graham, to find clarity in his emo ways.

"They don't think you cry," she said. "They would imagine that you would be a person that may cry because you are a sensitive soul. It's not that you cry, I've never seen you cry on stage [before.]"

In an interview with Rolling Stone this year, Drizzy said he didn't mind the jokes about his emo ways. "There's these GIFs about me, these stupid stereotypes people have of me as this overly emotional character that cries in his room every night," he said. "There are jokes because of Degrassi, because I'm Canadian, because I make music for women. There are memes of guys crying to my music. I love it. I heart those photos when I see them on Instagram."
