Jon Belmar, Police Chief of St. Louis County, held a press conference on Christmas Eve to address the recent shooting of Antonio Martin, at a gas station in Berkeley, Missouri.
Belmar detailed how Martin was allegedly armed with a handgun which he pointed at the officer which led to him being shot and killed. This case is very different from the recent killings of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Eric Garner, for all of those men were definitely unarmed, meanwhile, surviellence footage from this incident indicates that Antonio Martin did in fact raise his hand at the officer in what appears to be a threatening manner as if he was holding a weapon.
