Royce Da 5'9 shared his thoughts on J. Cole's "Fire Squad" in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV.

Royce doesn't think that J. Cole was trying to diss Eminem in any way by grouping his name with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Macklemore, and Iggy Azalea on the track, and he didn't get offended by the line when he heard it.

However, Royce did discuss the ways that artists can often ignite controversy when trying to utilize shock-value bars that get blown out of proportion by the general public.  If there was any malicious intent hidden within the line aimed at Eminem, then Royce believes that an apology is in order, however, he doesn't think that is the case considering that J. Cole has met Em in the past and was cool with him before.
