As a result of two NYPD officers being shot and killed in Brooklyn, NY., recently, racial tensions and general tension between the police and the people are at a boiling point.

Being that Reverend Al Sharpton is one of the most renowned civil rights activists of today's era, he is one public figure who is receiving a bulk of the backlash and blame for the lost NYPD lives.  He's been targeted by unknown individuals who've called his phone and left very racially charged and threatening messages in response to the fallen police.

He held a press conference in Harlem yesterday, December 21st, and stood alongside the mother and widow of Eric Garner, as he revealed to the world what kinds of threatening messages have been sent to him since the cops were killed.  Reverend Al went on to speak about how some people are focused on creating "recklessness and anarchy" while others are focused on "non-violence and making the system work."

What are your thoughts on the death threats that Reverend Al has received?
