The daylong march through the streets of NYC on Saturday, December 13th, ended with two police lieutenants being sent to the hospital after a melee broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge.  Cellphones and video cameras were rolling as a massive portion of the nearly 30,000 people who participated in the protest engaged numerous police officers in a physical altercation on the bridge during the evening hours of the day.

While a small group of police officers attempted to make an arrest, they were surrounded by the emotionally charged group of protesters, and forced into a heated grappling match with them.  Loads of onlookers jumped in to thwart the police from arresting the man they were trying to handcuff, and were seen continuously wrestling with police to free him.  Eventually, it appears as though the protesters came out victorious as the man they were trying to arrest, along with a group of people who rose to help him, ran off down the bridge while the cops were left behind looking defeated.
