Prior to the battle, Crooked I explained how shocked he was to see how many fans were predicting Cassidy to beat Dizaster. He expressed his confidence in Diz's abilities, as he views him as one of the best battlers in the world presently. Crooked I admitted that whenever Dizaster battles, he never thinks that he is going to lose. He went on to discuss how badly Dizaster beat Canibus in his previous KOTD clash.
