New York Knick Iman Shumpert sat down with Sean Evans of Complex and discussed a few hot button topics surrounding his issues with Charlamagne & DJ Envy of Power 105's The Breakfast Club, what he thinks the Knicks need to do to turn things around, and how much his girlfriend, Teyana Taylor, helps him with his music.

Shumpert reveals that Taylor has helped him with his pacing when rhyming, showing him how to let the beat breath when he spits as opposed to hitting people over the head with punchlines. As far as the Knicks are concerned, Shumpert says they just need to win games because every time they lose, people will make up their own reasons as to why, putting more pressure on him to make every shot which isn't always a good thing.

He also discusses his issues with Breakfast Club hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God, saying Envy lied by claiming he refused to mingle and sign autographs for the kids he brought along.
