Memphis spitter Yo Gotti sat down with VladTV correspondent Jenny Boom Boom and discussed his steady rise to fame, artists under his CMG label, and why he feels every rapper isn't cut out to be an executive.

Gotti says that he realizes that his rise in the game has been a long journey, with many Hip-Hop fans believing he is still a relatively new artist. Having dropped his first mixtape 14 years ago, however, he's no new kid on the block. Still, he's grateful for every fan who continues to discover him and his music for the first time every day.

The "Act Right" rapper also spoke on the artists under his own CMG label, specifically Snootie Wild who had a smash with "Yayo" and his current hit, "Made Me" featuring K. Camp. Gotti doesn't feel like he "made" any of his artists, but is simply backing up the talent they already have, and says many rappers don't have the versatility to be both record executives and rappers, admitting that he may be better at the business side of things than when it comes to crafting a hot 16.
