Swave Sevah discussed a variety of Battle Rap topics in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.

Swave began by addressing his most recent battle vs. the talented newcomer, Show Off, on A.R.P.'s Rare Breed Entertainment "Blood, Sweat & Tiers" battle event. Swave is an honest person who isn't afraid to admit defeat; however, this time around he is refusing to let fans say that he lost this battle.  If fans judge it as a draw, Swave won't be too upset, but he strongly believes that he beat the very formidable Show Off 2-1.

Swave eventually transitioned to discussing in more detail the various roster cuts made to Smack/URL's Proving Grounds class.  Swave, who previously commented on Norbes' response to Danny Myers, believes that battlers under contracts are being brought up much slower than those who have the independent ability to battle freely on varying leagues.  He thinks that contracts can hold certain battlers back from achieving exposure from a variety of fanbases, but also thinks that if a battler agrees to sign it, then they have to abide by it.

Despite his mixed feelings about the contracts being issues by Smack/URL, Swave does strongly believe that Smack/URL is a "lifeline" in Battle Rap, and that if the URL suddenly decided to quit and not host any more battles, then every other league would "fade."  Swave did credit KOTD's ability to last a bit longer than the rest of the leagues if Smack/URL ceased to exist, but he does believe that in the end, every other league will fall because fan interest in the sport will dwindle too greatly without Smack.
