Over the course of T-Pain's music career, the general public seems to have gotten things twisted in regards to his true talent without the use of Auto-Tune.  Since T-Pain first emerged on the mainstream spotlight, he's been a true innovator in Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop music genres for his creative use of the Auto-Tune sound.  While T-Pain only used this musical enhancement tactic to make himself sound different from everyone else, many of his fans and the general public who might've heard one of his songs playing in the local bar, club or lounge, became convinced that he had no talent without the assistance of Auto-Tune.

However, his recent mini-concert on NPR's Tiny Desk will surely turn all of his doubters into true believers.  T-Pain participated in a small concert inside of a bookstore, and sang some of his best hits without any Auto-Tune enhancements at all, and only with the background help of a skilled keyboardist playing the various beats to his songs.  The outcome was a true spectacle that left virtually ever viewer utterly stunned by his incredibly talented vocal abilities.

Many fans took to Twitter to express their praise for T-Pain's natural skill, and also called for him to release an album completely devoid of Auto-Tune.  One user even called him a modern Stevie Wonder after hearing his naturally hypnotic sound.
