Bobby Shmurda's breakout hit, "Hot N****," has reached gold status with over 500,000 copies sold.
The Brooklyn rapper announced the news and thanked his fans for their support on his Instagram page over the weekend
"Ayeeee yooo thanks to [everybody] who [went and got] that hot n*** love yall... dat b**** just went gold in 2 month and running."
Shmurda released the single in July but it wasn't until a vine with the "Shmoney Dance" and infamous hat flip that really catapulted him into the mainstream. His dance was also done by the biggest acts in music like Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna and Drake.
The BK rapper has also released the follow up single, "Bobby B****" earlier this month.
