When Raven-Symone boldly stated during a previous interview with Oprah that she doesn't consider herself to be "African American," but rather just American without a racial association added to her image, fans immediately pounced on her for not acknowledging her Black roots.
When asked by Larry King about his thoughts on her statements, T.I. actually cosigned Raven's perception of herself rather than bash her. T.I. believes that Raven made an "incredible point," and that her way of thinking provides herself and others with more of a unified mindframe, instead of always trying to create forms of separation amongst society.
