Shotgun Suge addressed the authenticity behind certain battlers' ties to the streets, in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.

Suge spoke on how some fans get it twisted thinking that certain battlers who claim affiliations with various gang sets aren't really "about that life" outside of the lyrical ring.  He reflected on Arsonal "doing what he was supposed to do," when Charron pulled out a Grape Street flag during their battle, and how many battlers with gang history got down with that lifestyle long before Battle Rap came into the spotlight.

When asked if he would ever drop his flag after being offered $10 million by a big corporation, Suge didn't hesitate when replying "never."  His Grape Street ties run deeper than what money can buy.
