Erykah Badu was very eager to see what it would be like to sing on the streets for money in Times Square, and recently put the experiment into action. She walked around for a while before parking on 42nd street, and began singing out to the many bystanders, "Please, give me some money!"
Maybe it was the fact that she wasn't singing legitimate songs, or because she wasn't recognizable without her big hat on her head, but Erykah's singing efforts only earned her a total of $3.60 over a considerable period of time. Regardless of the funds earned, Erykah walked away a very proud woman.
