Shotgun Suge shared his thoughts on the battle between Cassidy vs. Dizaster in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes.
Suge began by addressing the canceled MC WAR battle event featuring Keith Murray vs. Fredro Starr and Bone Crusher vs. Mike Jones. Shotgun believed that these matches were actually fake, and that people were simply trolling with all of the news about the MC WAR card. Suge thinks that this cancellation proves that mainstream artists simply can't just jump into Battle Rap and expect fans to actually want to see them compete.
The December 6th clash between Cassidy vs. Dizaster does not appeal to Shotgun Suge at all. He stated clearly that this is "the stupidest match" because there is no history behind their pairing. Suge thinks that as long as it took Cass to get in the ring, that he should've battled someone who he has history with, and named Murda Mook as the perfect opponent. He also discussed Cassidy's alleged $250k payment, and other potential battlers that would've matched up better against him.
