Erica Mena and Ray J sat down with Lil Kim for an interview on 106 & Park, and the Love & Hip Hop star put Kim's beef with Nicki Minaj out in the open. She started out by asking the Brooklyn rapper about others "biting" her style, and later mentioned Nicki by name. Kim took things in stride, remarking, "imitation is the biggest form of flattery," and adding that she wishes nothing but success for other female artists.

The Hardcore rapper also made it clear that her beef with Nicki wouldn't be resolved unless YMCMB ponied up some money, because Kim says "it's deeper" than just the beef. She went on to explain that she tried to join forces with the Cash Money crew after sending out her producer for Lil Wayne's "No Worries." Despite her efforts, Kim says "they took everything from me."

The interview drew a lot of attention, and Nicki's Barbz weren't too thrilled with what Erica said about the "Super Bass" rapper. Not one to back down, Erica spoke her mind about the situation on Twitter, "If me speakin on how I feel is shade then so be it. I speak my mind jus like ALL NEW YORK Women Do! PERIOD They Spit & live it jus like I DO."
