Murda Mook spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about a variety of Battle Rap topics in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV.

Mook began by addressing the topic of battlers battling too frequently and losing stock in their brand.  He does think that there are many battlers who battle far too often throughout the course of a year, and think of it as a bragging right, when really it causes the anticipation to see them battle dwindle, and thus prevents them from earning a big check.  Mook thinks that battling 2-3 times a year is healthy.

He also touched on the December battle between Cassidy vs. Dizaster.  While Mook is real cool with Cassidy, it is hard for him to vote against Dizaster simply because he knows that he is battle tested and has seen what he can do in the lyrical ring first hand.  At the same time, Mook credited Cassidy for being a problem in the past, and that people simply haven't seen the footage of him ripping apart rappers so they don't know just how vicious and battle-tested he really is.

Mook also supported the alleged $250k that Cassidy was paid for the battle, and stated that instead of hate on him for claiming to have been paid that much money, the high figure should inspire everyone to try and achieve the same check.  When Mook hears about other people making higher figures than him, instead of throw shade, it actually motivates him to work harder in order to get his value at the same level to earn the same income or higher.  He concluded by discussing the possibility of Snoop Dogg battling in the near future.
