Erica Mena opened up about the now infamous video of her kicking her son's father, a video many people have held against her. She claims, however, that in her moment, she was fighting for her life, and it was in fact the first time her son's father got the message that she wasn't to be toyed with any longer.
Today, Mena and her son's father have a good relationship, and she even big's him up, saying he's well respected and made her feel protected while they were together.
