Love and Hip Hop star Erica Mena says she wants to keep her relationship with Shad Moss protected, so she doesn't plan to showcase their romance on the show.
In an interview with TMZ, Mena shared her thoughts on Amber and Wiz Khalifa's divorce and says that the couple serves as a good example of why she wants to keep her relationship private.
"Oh my God, I'm so sad," he said. "I'm actually really good friends with Amber. It discourages me but at the same time, it helps me realize that when you're in the spotlight, you have to protect what's yours so much more than the average person. I think that's why a lot of people will be surprised to know that 'my' fiancé won't be on 'Love & Hip Hop.' I'm just pro saving what's mine and keeping it away from the world. ... Sometimes you can't really show the world your world."
Shad has also spoken out about their relationship to assure the skeptics that their romance is real.
