Jin sat down with Jack Thiller on ThisIs50 and spoke about the evolution of his career from his glory days in Battle Rap culture. Jin recalled some pretty interesting stories, including the time when he walked up to 50 Cent at a store in Miami and actually challenged him to battle him right then and there. Apparently, 50 didn't take Jin's challenge seriously and simply laughed at him and walked off. Even though he didn't get to battle 50, not too many people can even boast about having the courage to challenge him to a rap battle.
Jin later reflected on his downfall from the spotlight, and how humbling of an experience that was for him. The reality check that kicked in after his buzz had died down really helped to shape who he is today.
He then opened up to Jack with a funny story of the one true time that he got to speak to DMX. Jin stated that he never really got to build a relationship with X like that; however, he once approached him and drank his Arizona Ice Tea.
