Elle Varner sat down for an exclusive interview with VladTV, where she explained the meaning behind her new album title, "Four Letter Word." She explains that the idea came up after she released her song "F**k It All," but says it evolved into an open-ended meaning that people could take to mean many different things.
Vlad then switched up the conversation by asking Elle what she means when she calls her music "trap jazz," and she explained that she's drawn to trap beats that she likes pairing with her "jazzy" voice. When asked who her favorite trap stars are, Elle is at a loss for names, but says she also likes crunk music like Ying Yang Twins and also Bun B.
At the end of the conversation, Elle spoke about her love for Kanye and Adele, and when asked about being compared to the "Rolling in the Deep" singer, Elle said "it's an honor." She then gave viewers a taste of her acoustic vocal stylings by singing a snippet from "Don't Wanna Dance."
