Norbes spoke with VladTV Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the upcoming "Gladiator School" battle event taking place this Friday, September 19th, at Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia.
Norbes is looking forward to seeing how the event unfolds, and will be offering support for John John Da Don who is featured on the card. He discussed how Snoop Dogg gave praise to Smack/URL for being the "pinnacle" of Battle Rap, and also joked about how he doesn't smoke, but would be willing to with Snoop Dogg if the offer presented itself.
Norbes later discussed the inclusion of an award for Battle Rap at the BET Hip Hop Awards, and how Smack should be the one to present it. He considers Smack to be the "godfather" of the culture, and that it would be wrong for anyone else to present that award other than Smack.
