In 2014, nearly anything is possible.  It may be very rare to see a well-respected and very talented singer make a U-turn away from utilizing their natural vocal abilities to take up a serious career as a rapper, but that is exactly what has happened with Musiq Soulchild.  The former "Love" singer recently made a fresh return to the music industry as an auto tune using rapper going by the name of The Husel.

Based in Atlanta, The Husel, formerly known as Musiq Soulchild, is making a legitimate attempt to reinvent himself as a unique rap artist, and he recently dropped his new single, "Grindin," on Sound Cloud.  He utilized the combination of standard rap lyrics with strategically placed auto tune effects.  Soulchild explained that "The Husel" is more of a state of mind rather than an actual person while speaking to ThisIs50.com recently about his new career move.

Since the emergence of The Husel, fans have gone in on Twitter sharing their thoughts on Soulchild's new identity.  Many people have also been commenting on his appearance at the ThisIs50 interview, where he wore a leather cap with leather crown attached to it, with a pair sunglasses.  Check out The Husel's "Grindin'" single, fan reactions, and his interview with ThisIs50, above.
