He explains that it seemed natural for him to join the industry when he was eighteen, and working for his father's own adult video company.
Steven goes on to explain that his friends and their parents knew what his family did for a living, but Hirsch also knew about the dangerous parts of the industry while telling a story about the FBI looking for his father. He adds that his father was involved in several "landmark obscenity cases," which stuck with him for a long time.
